“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain

Banggi Second Edition : The Truth

Dated ..... - Evacuated and edited from Come What May

People of Balabak
~The majority of ppl here in the surrounding of SK Padang is the group of Balabak ethnic(LOL! klu dusun len suda 2 d pikiran)
~Beware the practise of "charm", it's still HOT & DA BOMB here, so be suspicious 2 everyone but not until it's SO...obvious & it shows... Never consume any food/edible thing they gave: first becuz someone might dislikes u and put something in it which cause bounty of pain, second becuz u should be wary of the hygiene level

Villages nearby
~Apart from Maliyu, others are: Padang, Kalangkaman, Damaran, Pengkalan darat (Pengkalan = Pangkalan = Port; There is no such thing as port after all, they are even clueless of the origin of the name)

History of the school
~Before being moved to Maliyu, SK Padang was formerly situated at Kg Padang but due to certain disputes and natural causes it was relocated to current spot in Maliyu

Water problem
~Don't expect direct pipe supply, of course even if u can see a pipeline, the source is from the tank & from rain
~Be prepared that you might take your bathe at the well

Temperature
~It is really damn hot & dry... Mostly lack of wind, imagine that
~Although it is windy & cloudy, DO still wear sunblock with at least SPF40...unless you think tan is sexy

Food source
~It's a fisherman village u say, alas!... Seafood isn't abundant here as it is used to be as before. But you can still savour a simple luxury though, you can still have fish for meals but have to "order" 'em. And it is more than plenty cuz they'll sell you 4 fishes for RM1. Errrr..but they are just ikan putih, ikan kayu... What do you expect? Tuna? Salmon?
